Willie "Bill" F. Landry, a beloved figure known for his unwavering commitment to service, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. Born on June 3, 1943, in Port Arthur, Texas, Bill dedicated a significant part of his life to serving his country, contributing his efforts in both the United States Army and the Navy Dredge Unit. This dedication to service extended beyond his military career; he was renowned for making everyone feel special and loved to serve others throughout his life.

Bill's legacy is carried on by his devoted wife, Jo Ann Landry, and their children: Kreg Landry of Jacksonville, Florida; Anglique Landry of Crosby; Nichole Sexton of Austin; and sons, John Munoz and his wife, Myndi of Nederland, and Jesse Munoz and his wife, Amanda of El Paso. Bill was also a proud grandfather to many, including Reis Tate, Justin Ray, Carley Sexton, Michelle Harrison, Emma Verner, Cooper Munoz, Anthony Munoz, Leeandra Novak and her husband, Jon, Tiffany Munoz, Nancy Munoz, Jesse Munoz, Jr., Reyli Munoz, Brandon Sanches, and Layla Munoz. His family was extended by six great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Bill is survived by his brother, Jimmy Landry, and his wife, Helen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Eula Landry, as well as his grandson, Tyler Landry, and granddaughter, Blair Ray.

A visitation in honor of Bill will be held on September 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 2001 Nall St, Port Neches, Texas 77651.

Bill's love for hunting was matched only by his love for his family and community, and those who knew him will remember him as a man whose spirit radiated kindness, honor, and warmth. His proudest accomplishments reflect not only his military service but the countless ways he impacted the lives of those around him. Bill F. Landry will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
