Wendi Michelle Robinson

Wendi Neely Robinson, 56, of Mauriceville, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023, in Nederland, Texas.

Born in Groves on August 14, 1966, Wendi was the daughter of Darrell Neely, Jr. and Cynthia Mire. Wendi graduated from Bridge City High School, and worked in the Beaumont legal community for over 35 years. She enjoyed reading, baking and spending time with her beloved dogs, Jake and Fiona.

Wendi is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years, Craig Robinson of Mauriceville; mother and stepfather, Cynthia Mire McDonald and Richard McDonald of Nederland; father, Darrell “Butch” Neely, Jr., of Port Arthur; sister and brother-in-law, Darla Jefferson and Richard Jefferson of Nederland; brother, Mark Neely, of League City; niece and great-niece, Danielle Jetton and Ava Jetton, of Bridge City; brother and sister-in-law, Steward Robinson and Susan Robinson, of Nederland; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends through the area.

Wendi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Darrell Neely, Sr. and Agnes Neely, and John W. Mire, Sr. and Louella Mire.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland to “Celebrate the Life” of Wendi Michelle Neely Robinson and to Honor her Memory.
