ibWanda L. Cook, 83, of Nederland, Texas since the age of 2, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Promise Hospital. She was born in Henry, Louisiana on December 27, 1924 to John C. and Mary Bartels Collins. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Nederland and worked at the Nederland Pharmacy from 1942 to 1950 before marrying Buddy Cook. She was the loving mother of Ron Cook of Friendswood and Janda S. Cook of Nederland the devoted grandmother of Kenny Cook of Humble loving sister of Harold Collins and wife Edna of Bridge City and had numerous lifelong friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie quotBuddyquot Cook after celebrating 50 years of marriage her parents two sisters, Augusta Bly and Lottie Richey and brother, C. J. quotSonnyquot Collins, all of Nederland.A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, November 19th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland.Funeral services will be Thursday, November 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Rev.
