Virginia Juaweece Marshall, a beacon of love and faith, was born on February 12, 1929, in Kasciusko, Mississippi, and departed this world on August 19, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. Her life was characterized by her unwavering commitment to her family, her church, and her God, making her a cherished figure among all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Virginia lived her life for others, consistently serving as an encourager to everyone around her. With a spirit that never gave up on people, she touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of compassion and kindness. Her devotion to faith was profound; as a founding member of Triumph Church of Nederland, she possessed a strong voice that inspired many within her congregation. Virginia's love for her church and family was equaled only by her fierce devotion to God, which guided her every action.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Eva Carnell Scarborough and her husband, David, Renee Marshall Clark and her husband, Bishop Randy, and Leah Marshall Mazzapica and her husband, Pastor Frank. Virginia's enduring spirit will live on through her grandchildren: David Aaron Scarborough and his wife, Natalie; Keisha Boulden and her husband, Blake; Pastor Randon Clark and his wife, Lindsay; Cara Lewis and her husband, Ryan; Hannah Clark Rohani; Frank Mazzapica and his wife, Allie; Jonathan Mazzapica; Nathan Mazzapica and his wife, Megan; Meagan Harvey and her husband, David; Isabella Alexandra McLeod and her husband, Sean; and Gabriella Grace Mazzapica. Virginia also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren: Sloan Boulden, Jackson Boulden, Eva Scarborough, Marshall Scarborough, Georgia Grace Scarborough, Kennedy Clark, Randy Clark, Payton Lewis, Parker Lewis, Quinn Lewis, Uriah Rohani, Ezrah Raye Rohani, Preslee Mazzapica, Luke Mazzapica, Kate Mazzapica, Judah Mazzapica, Jude McLeod, Caleb Harvey, and Ethan Harvey. She is also survived by her sisters, Beverly Jean Odom and Sara Wyatt, and her brother, David Ellard and his wife, Judy.

Her passing is preceded by her parents, Josh and Delza Ellard; her beloved husband, Irvin J. Marshall; and her siblings, John Ellard, Earl Ellard, Donald Wayne, and Ruth Marino.

The legacy of Virginia Juaweece Marshall, as a prayer warrior and a woman of strong faith, will continue to inspire future generations. She was not only a cornerstone within her family but also a pillar in her community, always lifting others up and reminding them of their worth. Her warmth, strength, and deep faith will be deeply missed by all.

Visitation for Virginia will be held on August 23, 2025, at Triumph Church Nederland, 1407 South Highway 69, Nederland, TX, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A subsequent visitation will take place at Triumph Church, 136 Honeysuckle Lane, Vicksburg, MS, on August 25, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, culminating with a funeral service at 6:30 PM. Virginia will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery, 191 US-80, Vicksburg, MS, during a graveside service on August 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
