      Vincent "Vince" E. Pulito, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2024, at his residence in Port Neches, Texas. Born on May 21, 1931, in Port Arthur, Texas. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and married Janette Stanley in December 1950.

      Vince dedicated a significant portion of his working life to the Texaco Refinery as a carpenter, where he displayed his commendable skills and unwavering work ethic. His career was a testament to his commitment and craftsmanship, embodying values that resonated deeply with those who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

      A proud veteran, Vince honorably served in the United States Army, an experience that remained a significant part of his identity and contributed to the man he became. His service reflects a dedication to his country that left an enduring impact on his family and friends. He went into the Korean War and was stationed in Japan.

      Vince was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Groves for over thirty-years and enjoyed Sunday School Classes. Vince was the Vice-President of the Liars Club at Central Mall, where he and other members solved all the problems of the "world". Vince was also a member of OCAW 4-23, VFW 4820, Masonic Lodge 1315, and ASA Umpire Association. 

      In terms of personal passions, Vince was known for his love of travel, especially adventures taken alongside his beloved wife, Jeanette, referred to affectionately as "Net." Together, with their son Brian, shared countless joyful moments at their camp at Toledo Bend, creating lasting memories full of laughter and love. Vince, Janette and Brian together built their camp at Toledo Bend in 1969.

      Vince also had an array of hobbies that brought him joy, including fishing, playing pool, and dabbling in golfing. He possessed an artistic flair, expressed through his talent as a stained-glass maker, crafting beautiful pieces that reflected not only his skill but also his appreciation for beauty.

      Vince is survived by his son, Brian E. Pulito, and his wife, Felicia, of Port Neches; his granddaughter, Kimberly Paige Pulito of Conroe; and his great-grandchildren, Alora Jade Palos and Alyse Janette Palos; brothers-in-law, James Brady of Katy, and Ronnie Stanley and his wife Lanelle of Lindale, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews. They will carry forward his legacy, remembering the lessons he imparted and the love he showered upon them.

      Vince was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Janette "Net" (Stanley) Pulito; his parents, Vincenzina "Jenny" (Sclafani) Pulito and Nick E. Pulito; aunt, Rose "Rosie" Pulito; and his sister, Loraine Pulito Brady. Vince's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, his spirit forever woven into the tapestry of their lives.

      A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both taking place at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, located at 5601 39th St, Groves, TX 77619. The interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

      Vincent "Vince" E. Pulito will be remembered not just for his achievements, but for the love he spread throughout his lifetime. His legacy serves as a reminder of the importance of family, community, and the moments that bring us together.
