Ruby Bailey

Ruby Bailey, 77, of Katy, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 in Houston, Texas. Ruby was born on November 27, 1945 in Abbeville, Louisiana to the late, Ono David and Bertha Lange David.

Those left to cherish Ruby’s memory include her daughters, Charisse Procter, and Tiffany LeLeu and her husband, Stephen; granddaughter, Tabitha LeLeu; brother, Larry David; sister, Bernice Segura and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Ono David and Bertha Lange David; her loving husband of 22 years, Tommy Bailey; and her granddaughter, Megan Procter.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas on Thursday morning, July 20, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
