As a dedicated cook for Taco Rey, Rocio brought warmth and joy to many through her culinary creations. Her passion for cooking was matched only by her love for family and service. Rocio’s spirit was characterized by her unwavering desire to help others, a trait that endeared her to friends and family alike. Rocio took great delight in many hobbies, particularly traveling and shopping. She is survived by her loving husband, Domingo Rina, and her cherished children, Samantha Mendez and Mizrrahin Mendez. Rocio’s parents, Mr. Rodolfo Paredes and Mrs. Alma DeLeon, along with her brother, Rodolfo Paredes, Jr., and her sisters, Gloria Juares, and her husband, Alvaro, and Cynthia Sidon and her husband, Simon Pedro, will always hold her memory close as they navigate life without her radiant presence.
Rocio joins her beloved grandparents in eternal rest, where she now watches over her family from above, an ever-present guardian angel.
Visitation services will take place on June 29, 2025, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Rosary will begin at the same location from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The Funeral Service honoring Rocio's life will be held at Fuenta De Vida, 2838 27th St, Port Arthur, Texas, on June 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM.
