Roberto Carreon, 76 of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas. He was born on August 24,1947 in Elsa, Texas to the late, Evaristo and Senovia Carreon. Roberto leaves behind a legacy defined by his unwavering commitment to his loved ones and his country.
In his professional life, Roberto retired from Huntsman Corporation in 1999 after an impressive 32 years of service. His dedication and hard work were evident to all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
A proud Veteran, Roberto served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as part of 173rd Airborne Brigade. He exemplified courage and honor throughout his military service.
Beyond his career and military service, Roberto was a man of many hobbies and interests. An avid fisherman, he found solace by the water's edge as he loved to spend time bank fishing. He also had a passion for gardening and landscaping, taking great pride in cultivating beauty from the earth. Additionally, Roberto enjoyed woodworking, creating intricate pieces with his skilled hands. His love for the outdoors extended to cooking outdoors for family gathering, telling jokes and listening to great music.
He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Viola Carreon of Beaumont, Texas; daughter, Rosanna Spencer and husband, George of Beaumont, Texas; son, Joshua Carreon and his wife, Kathryn of Nederland, Texas; sister, Rose Sargent of Port Acres, Texas; as well as seven cherished grandchildren; Aleesha Carreon Bodden, Austin Spencer, Sarah Walker Carreon, Angel Carreon, Antonio Spencer, Alexander Spencer, and Logan Robert Carreon.
Roberto is preceded in death by his parents, Evaristo and Senovia Carreon; his former wife, Gloria Carreon and his brother, Evaristo Carreon, Jr.

A Memorial Service that will include Full Military Honors to celebrate Roberto's life and service to his country will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Melancon~Levingston Funeral Home located at 1605 Avenue H in Nederland, Texas. Family and friends are invited to join together to honor and remember a remarkable man who touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity.
Roberto Carreon will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love he shared and the legacy he leaves behind. May he Rest in Eternal Peace.
