Robert "Jim" Wilson, IV, peacefully passed away on January 18, 2024, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. Born on November 24, 1946, in Port Arthur, Texas, Jim was the beloved son of Anna Lucile (Wear) Wilson and Robert James Wilson, III.

Jim's love for his country led him to proudly serve in the United States Navy. With deep patriotism and reverence, he dedicated himself to upholding the values and principles that make America great.

Jim's education was also an essential aspect of his life. He earned an Associate's degree in Instrumentation, which equipped him with the knowledge and skills necessary for his successful career. After many years of service, Jim retired with a sense of pride and fulfillment.

Beyond his professional and religious affiliations, Jim had various interests that brought him happiness throughout his life. He had a passion for flying his drone, captivated by the beauty and perspective it provided from above. Additionally, he enjoyed creating fond memories during Disney vacations with his loved ones and cherished spending time on the golf course with his brother.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Robert James Wilson, III and Anna Lucile Wilson; and his beloved wife of 40 years, Virginia "Ginger" Wilson.
