ibRita Barbeara LeBlanc, 58, of Nederland passed away surrounded by friends and relatives at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston on Friday, December 19, 2008.Rita was born in Beaumont, TX on November 14, 1950 to the Mike Barbeara and Dorothy Koonce Arredondo.She was the devoted wife of Richard D. LeBlanc of Nederland the loving mother of Charles Green and wife Amanda of Vidor Christie Whitmire and husband Greg of Lumberton, stepson Richard LeBlanc of Temple, stepdaughters Amy Gonzalez and husband Russel of Houston and Miranda LeBlanc of Temple. Rita was the beloved sister of Robert Arredondo of Nederland Lillian Aycock and husband John of Nederland, Annie Sleeper and husband Mike of Nederland and stepsister of Sylvia Ramirez and husband Alex of Port Arthur and Casey Arredondo of Houston and the proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren. She was also the devoted daughter of Dorothy Arredondo of Nederland. Rita is preceded by her father Mike Barbeara.A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, December 21, at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be Monday, December 22, at 10:00 am at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
