Rhonda Simon

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rhonda Simon, who departed this life on July 28, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 19, 1950, Rhonda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She lived a life marked by devotion, love, and kindness leaving behind a legacy cherished by all who knew her.

She found immense joy and purpose in her family, especially in her role as a grandmother. Her grandchildren were truly her greatest joy, bringing her endless delight and filling her days with love and laughter. Rhonda grew up strong in her faith as a Seventh Day Adventist.

Rhonda is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Rodney Simon of Groves. She leaves behind her loving daughters, Aimee Rogers and spouse, Mike; Stephanie Simon and spouse, Tiffany. Her memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren, Madylin Rogers, and Grant Rogers and his fiancé, Meagan Smith.

She is also survived by her sisters, Penny Lee and her husband, Andrew; Jeannine Jones and her husband, Mike; her brother, Ricky Phillips and his wife, Mona; and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Rhonda was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Gosmer and Ethel Phillips.
