Rebeca A. Montoya Tenorio

Rebeca A. Montoya Tenorio, a loving and devoted mother, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, in Galveston, Texas, at the age of 41. Born on December 20, 1983, in Managua, Nicaragua, Rebeca was known for her loud, vivacious personality and her good-hearted, caring nature. She loved everyone around her and made it her mission to spread joy and warmth wherever she went.

Rebeca dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker. She was always on the go, bringing energy and love into her home. Her most cherished roles were those of Mother to her two beloved children, Allison Perez and Jacob Perez. Her pride and joy echoed in her cooking, which was truly a specialty; her family will forever remember the meals filled with love that she prepared.

In addition to her nurturing spirit, Rebeca had a passion for life that was reflected in her love for dancing and listening to music. These interests not only brought her joy but also allowed her to connect with others, creating unforgettable memories with friends and family alike.

Rebeca is survived by her dear mother, Irma Tenorio, and her siblings: Rosa Sanders and husband Noe Guerrero, Jackeline Ortiz, Caroline Ortiz and husband Timoteo Gonzalez, Roberto Ortiz and wife Grethel, Javier Ortiz, Leonardo Alvarez and wife Anielca Alvarez, Ligia Montoya and husband Cosme Ramos, Raymundo Montoya, Nicki Montoya, and Jose Chavarria. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonel Montoya.

A visitation to honor Rebeca will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 5601 39th St, Groves, Texas 77619. A Celebration of Rebeca’s Life will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 15, 2025, at Melancon Levingston in Groves. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.

Rebeca's impact on the lives she touched will be remembered as a testament to the loving spirit she embodied. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and a strong familial bond that will inspire those who knew her for years to come.

Rebeca A. Montoya Tenorio, una madre amorosa y dedicada, falleció pacíficamente el 6 de septiembre de 2025 en Galveston, Texas, a la edad de 41 años. Nacida el 20 de diciembre de 1983 en Managua, Nicaragua, Rebeca era conocida por su personalidad vivaz y su carácter bondadoso y cariñoso. Amaba a todos a su alrededor y se propuso transmitir alegría y calidez dondequiera que iba.

Rebeca dedicó su vida a su familia como una dedicada ama de casa. Siempre estaba en movimiento, aportando energía y amor a su hogar. Sus roles más preciados fueron los de madre de sus dos amados hijos, Allison Pérez y Jacob Pérez. Su orgullo y alegría se reflejaban en su cocina, que era una verdadera especialidad; su familia recordará por siempre las comidas llenas de amor que preparaba.

Además de su espíritu cariñoso, Rebeca tenía una pasión por la vida que se reflejaba en su amor por el baile y la música. Estos intereses no solo le brindaron alegría, sino que también le permitieron conectar con otras personas, creando recuerdos inolvidables con amigos y familiares.

A Rebeca le sobreviven su querida madre, Irma Tenorio, y sus hermanos: Rosa Sanders y su esposo Noé Guerrero, Jackeline Ortiz, Caroline Ortiz y su esposo Timoteo González, Roberto Ortiz y su esposa Grethel, Javier Ortiz, Leonardo Álvarez y su esposa Anielca Álvarez, Ligia Montoya y su esposo Cosme Ramos, Raymundo Montoya, Nicki Montoya y José Chavarría. Le precedió en la muerte su padre, Leonel Montoya.

El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Memory Gardens en Nederland.
