Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 9th at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland with Rev. Dariel Newman and Bro. Bob Logan officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 9th at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until service time, Thursday, October 9th at the Heritage Funeral Home. Services are under the ion of Heritage Funeral Home, Jay Kolb funeral or.Raymond was born in Trinity County and later moved to Port Arthur. He retired from Gulf Oil with 34 years of service. He moved to Ivanhoe after retirement, where he was a member and a deacon of Hillister Baptist Church. He moved to Port Neches 2 years ago.He was preceded in death by a son, Floyd Irvine parents, Luther Wells and Ollie Barnes Irvine 8 brothers and 1 sister.He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Dorothy Irvine of Port Neches a daughter, Kathy Newman and husband, Hallie of Port Neches a grandson, Rev. Dariel Newman and wife, Jodi of Pearland 1 granddaughter, Dana Bartlett and husband, Bart of Nederland, 2 greatgrandsons, Michael and Jared Newman of Pearland and 2 greatgranddaughters, Kayla Broussard of Nederland and Kristen Newman of Pearland.Serving as pallbearers will be Vernon Bud Ware, Norman Butler, Michael Newman, Jared Newman, Hallie Newman, andBart Bartlett.
