It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Marie Fabre Trahan, a beloved matriarch, who departed this life on January 18, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas. Born on February 29, 1952, in Jeff Davis, Louisiana, Patricia graced the world with her warmth and generosity for nearly seventy-four years, living a life that was rich in love and compassion.

As a devoted homemaker, Patricia spent countless hours in the kitchen, where her love of cooking flourished. She possessed a remarkable ability to nurture those around her through her culinary talents, often inviting friends and family into her home. Patricia's house was a haven, always open to everyone, welcoming all with a spirit that made each guest feel cherished. She not only raised her own children but touched the lives of many, helping to raise countless others with love and kindness.

Patricia was a proud member of the Catholic Faith and found joy in attending the sporting events of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as those of her nieces and nephews. Her dedication to family was unsurpassed, and she celebrated each achievement, big or small, with immense pride.

In addition to her family and faith, Patricia loved spending time at Delta Downs Racetrack and Casino, a place where she enjoyed the thrill of the moment. Her vibrant personality and deep-rooted connections to her loved ones will be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Patricia is survived by her son, Mark Joseph Trahan of Nederland; daughters Kristi Diaz of Nederland, Lisa Broussard of Port Acres, and Julie Siau and her husband, Bryan of Newton; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Alexander Diaz and his wife, Samantha, Konnor Broussard, Kirsten Casteel and her husband, Austin, Braydon Broussard, Madison Diaz, Keeley Siau Spivey and her fiancé, Chandler, Blade Siau, and Drake Trahan. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Kasyn Diaz, Korvyn Diaz, Edward Diaz, Ivy Creel, and Sage Broussard.

Patricia is further survived by her brother, Howard Fabre; sisters Joy Aubey, Neva Johnson and her husband, Lewis, Lucy Holst and her husband, Grady, Faye Bauer and her husband, Hobart, Bonnie Taylor and her husband, Bobby, Brenda Mueller and her husband, Benny, JoAnn Pinder, and Cheryl Matthews and her husband, Robert; as well as sister-in-law Rose Guilbeaux, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Annie Fabre; her husband of 54 years, Luther John Trahan; her granddaughter, Emma Trahan; and daughter-in-law, Cherie Trahan.

The community will gather to honor Patricia's memory during visitation on January 22, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas. A graveside service will be held following the service at Memory Gardens in Nederland, Texas.

Patricia Marie Fabre Trahan's legacy of love and devotion continues to shine through her family and friends, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Her spirit will forever be cherished and remembered.
