Nettie Nolen, born on December 12, 1938, in Beaumont, Texas, peacefully passed away on July 8, 2026, in her hometown of Beaumont, Texas. Her life was a
testament to joy, warmth, and a unique spirit that touched many hearts.
Nettie had a profound love for animals, especially her cherished cats, and found great delight in their companionship. She was known for her active nature and loved chatting with anyone and everyone. A true enthusiast, garage sales were her beloved hobby, where she undoubtedly found many treasures and shared countless smiles.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted family, including her son, Keith Nolen and his wife, Julie of Beaumont; her daughters, Sheree Keen and her husband, Robert of Poteau, Oklahoma, and Cheryl Orsak and her husband, James of Mont Belvieu.
Nettie also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Heath Guilbeaux, Lauren Pierce, Kacy Nolen, Chase Orsak, and River Orsak, along with four adored great-grandchildren.
Nettie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Ella Boles and her younger brother, John Boles. Her vibrant personality and loving presence will be deeply missed and forever treasured by her family and friends.
Nettie will be honored at a graveside service on Monday, July 13, 2026. The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
