Nelwyn F. Ivey

Nelwyn F. Ivey, 78, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away November 16, 2009. She was born in Shelbyville, Texas on July 3, 1931 to the late John and Myrtle Crow Fields. She was an area resident for over 50 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Port Neches.She was the loving mother of Mark Ivey and wife, Ivy of San Jose, CA, Kevin Ivey and wife, Brenda of Cypress, TX, and James Lloyd and wife, Patricia of Groves, TX devoted sister of Johnnie Waggoner of Sulphur, LA and cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren, Matthew Ivey, Lauren Ivey, Michael Ivey, Nicole Ivey, Brandon Ivey, Dalton Finley, and Dennis Lloyd.She is preceded in death by her parents husband, Gordon Ivey and daughter, Janet Ivey.A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, November 20th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland.Funeral services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home Saturday, November 21st at 1:00 p.m., Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
