Michelle Marie Marley, a cherished soul and beloved member of her community, passed away on June 29, 2025, in Nederland, Texas. Born on April 15, 1971, in Port Arthur, Texas, Michelle leaves behind a legacy defined by her enormous heart, unwavering bravery, steadfast loyalty, and a joyful spirit that lit up the lives of those around her. She deeply cherished her family and found her greatest joy in the company of her loved ones.

A devoted wife and proud mother, Michelle poured herself into her family and inspired countless others along the way. She was known for her infectious laugh, vibrant spirit, sharp wit, and unmatched generosity. She delighted in life’s simple pleasures - baking and cooking with her children, spending time with her grandchildren, loving on her furbabies, Bailey and Charlie, and gathering with her family and friends.

Michelle was a devout Catholic and faithful member of St. Charles Catholic Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her steps and sustaining her with strength and passion through every season.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years Shawn Marley of Nederland, TX. She is also survived by her children Meagan Goetz (Matt) of Beaumont, TX, Kaitlyn Manley (Tristin) of Nederland, TX, Brendan Marley (Brooke) of Nederland, TX, by her mother, Sarah “Sally” Courville of Nederland, TX, her brother Chad Courville (Shawna) of Nederland, TX, In-laws Don and Linda Marley of Port Arthur, TX, Brother-in-law Jeremy Marley (Ashley) of Nederland, TX, her grandchildren, Grayson Ruth and Parker Shawn, along with many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. Each of them carries her memory forward, enriched by the love, values, and faith she so gracefully passed on.

Michelle now rejoins her beloved father, Michael Courville, in Heaven. The legacy she leaves is one of courage, compassion, strength, and unshakeable love.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary beginning at 6:00pm at Melancon Levingston Funeral home, located at 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, 77627. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:30am at St. Charles Catholic Church, located at 211 Hardy Ave, Nederland, Texas, 77627.
