It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Weaver, who departed this life on August 31, 2026, in Port Arthur, Texas. Born on April 12, 1960, in Port Arthur, Mark lived a life full of joy and connection, leaving behind a legacy cherished by his beloved wife of 35 years, Roxanne Weaver, his daughter Arli Weaver, and his adored grandchildren, Rori and Hatti Weaver.
Mark was a man of many passions, known for his very social nature and his love for life's simple pleasures. He found great joy in fishing and hunting, playing a good game of pool, and listening to his cherished Old Rock and Roll Music. His adventurous spirit led him to enjoy camping, going to the lake, and traveling on cruises, even experiencing life in Hawaii. Mark also had a fondness for Ice House Beer and, above all, treasured spending time with his family and being a part of the Big Buddy System.
Mark's memory will be forever cherished by his devoted wife, Roxanne Weaver, with whom he shared 35 wonderful years. He is also survived by his loving daughter, Arli Weaver, and his precious grandchildren, Rori Weaver and Hatti Weaver, who brought immense joy to his life. He leaves behind his sister, Susan Jensen, and a wide circle of extended family, including his in-laws, Tommy Bammert and his wife, Angela, and Alicia Bedsole and her husband, Greg. His nieces and nephews, Melissa Jensen, Chris Jensen, Ysabel Bammert, Tristin Bammert, Olivia Bedsole, and Zoee Bedsole, will also hold him dear in their hearts.
Mark was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Harold and Sherry Weaver, and his niece, Katherine Jensen. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 5601 39th Street, Groves, Texas 77619. A graveside service to celebrate Mark's life will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, 5200 West Parkway, Groves, Texas.
