           Mark Lin Moore, passed on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Beaumont Texas. Born on October 22, 1957, in Port Arthur, Texas, Mark's journey on this earth was one of unwavering dedication and love.

          Mark dedicated over 40 years of his life as a Color Chemist with Hempel Industries, demonstrating not only his commitment but also his passion for his work. His knowledge and expertise left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. A devout follower of the Catholic Faith, Mark's life was guided by his deep-rooted beliefs. He found solace and strength in his faith, shaping his perspectives and interactions throughout his life.

Educated at The University of St. Thomas, Mark's thirst for knowledge extended beyond the classroom. He found joy in researching his family geology, unraveling the threads of his past with enthusiasm and interest.

Mark's vibrant personality was apparent through every aspect of his being. His love for family was evident to all who crossed his path. A talented cook, he delighted in preparing mouthwatering Cajun dishes that brought people together. Among his favorite indulgences were Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, a treat he savored with delight.          

          Mark leaves behind a legacy that will endure through the memories he created with those closest to him. He is survived by his niece, Candice Sullinger of Dallas, Texas; nephew, Austin Smith of Nederland, Texas; along with aunts, Lorraine Ausburn of Livingston, Texas; and Patricia Moore of Nederland, Texas. Not to be forgotten is Mark's cherished feline companion, "Babycakes," who held a special place in his heart and brought him comfort and joy through the years.

          In the loving embrace of heaven, Mark reunites with those that preceded him in death, his beloved parents, Jack and Joan Moore, sister, Penny Ortego, and grandparents, Ashton and Mildred Borel. Their spirits intertwined forevermore in a tapestry of love and remembrance.

          A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by the Funeral Service at Melancon~Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland, Texas. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas. Let us gather to celebrate the life of Mark Lin Moore, a man of integrity, kindness, and unwavering faith.

          As we mourn the loss of a remarkable individual, we find solace in knowing that Mark's spirit will live on in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a difference in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
