Mark Wayne Alphin, skilled craftsman, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, in Pryor, Oklahoma. Born on June 8, 1960, Mark lived a life marked by dedication, craftsmanship, and an enduring love for people.
Mark’s career spanned three decades at Branch Krachy, where he served with distinction in inside sales of industrial supplies. His commitment and professionalism were hallmarks of his work ethic, earning him respect and admiration throughout his tenure. Retirement from this long-standing position allowed him to devote more time to his cherished hobbies and the loved ones who meant so much to him.
A man of many talents, Mark found great joy in hunting, fishing, and rope crafting, activities that connected him deeply with nature and tradition. He was particularly proud of his exceptional skill in gunsmithing; he could disassemble, reassemble, or even convert any firearm with meticulous expertise. In quieter moments, he enjoyed the thoughtful challenge of puzzles, a testament to his patient and methodical nature.
Mark was known for his warm personality and his love of people. His presence was a source of comfort and joy to family and friends alike, and his generous spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was a pillar of strength and kindness within his family.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Carol and Patricia Alphin; his grandparents, Steve and Otance Alphin. They remain forever in the hearts of those who remember their legacy through Mark.
Mark is lovingly survived by his brother, Steven Alphin; sister-in-law, Dianne; his nephew, Russell Alphin; his niece, Lauren Ward, and her husband, Stephen; as well as his great-niece and great-nephew, Sam and Addison Ward. Together, they carry forward his memory and the values he held dear.
Family, friends, and all who cherished Mark are invited to pay their respects at a visitation to be held on Tuesday evening, May 12, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, located at 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, 77627.
Mark Wayne Alphin’s life was one of quiet strength, skilled hands, and a caring heart. His legacy endures in the lives he touched and the family he loved deeply. May he rest in peace.
