MaeDell Salter, 95, previously residing in Nederland went to heaven June 29, 2022. Mae was born on February 12, 1927 in Oakhurst, Texas to the late Amon and Minnie Copeland. She is a lifelong believer of the Christian Faith. MaeDell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend to many. She loved her Lord and Savior, family and friends more than life itself. She was fully devoted to God, family and a living example of being the hands and feet of Jesus. Mae is survived by her children and their spouses Lee Burton, Phillip and Cheryl Burton, Mary Ann and Greg Peay, numerous grand, great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon Tuesday July 5th at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas under direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home Nederland.
