Louis Howard Baker, 71, of Orange, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024 in Lumberton, Texas. Louis was born in Port Arthur, Texas on April 8, 1953 to the late, Howard Harrison Baker and Ruby Theresa Guidry.
    Louis worked for Chevron Chemical and retired with 20 years of service.
    Those left to cherish Louis' memory include his Son, Louis Baker, Jr. of Thomasville, North Carolina; his daughters, Tracie Baker of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Jennifer Baker of Orange, Texas; brother, Glenn Baker of Port Arthur, Texas, sisters, Linda Baker of Port Arthur, Texas and Carol Baker, also of Port Arthur, Texas; and his grandchildren, Hailey Baker, Myla Baker, Aidan Baker, Christian Barker, Lauren Barker, Cody Rein, Kayla Armstrong, Logann Frederick, and Beaux Frederick.
    Louis is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Harrison Baker and Ruby Theresa Guidry.
     Cremation is under the direction of Melancon~Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas.
