Ken, I was very sorry to read about your mother's death. I remembered that our parents were friends when we were young. Mom enjoyed spending time with your mother and thought very highly of her. We lost Mom in 2008, so I know some of what you're family is going through. I smile at the thought of them meeting in Heaven, and wondering what we're still up to down here. I'm sorry for your loss, and your family will certainly be in our thoughts and prayers. Regena Hey, Ken, this is younger sister, Lisa. Our Mother's were remarkable and strong women. I often heard Mother speak of Lorene and what she was doing. I'm thankful we come from such good stock, they were great examples for us. They are at peace and happy again. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Mrs. Cox was such a lovely lady, always gracious, warm, and generous. She and Mr. Cox welcomed us into their extended family and their home, and we will always remember both of them with affection.

I have so many memories of Lorene; from the firt time I met her at the wedding of Brenda and Jim to our last Thanksgiving together with her corn bread stuffing. Her smile, her laughter, her caring all mean so much to me. She was very special.
