Linda Gayle Hebert, born on November 16, 1944, in Port Arthur, Texas, departed this life on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in her hometown. A cherished matriarch, she leaves behind a legacy rich in love, devotion, and an unwavering connection to her family.
Linda dedicated herself to the role of a homemaker, always nurturing her loved ones through her bountiful cooking and care. She had a delightful zest for life, often found singing joyfully at Central Baptist Church in Port Neches, where she was a valued member of the congregation. Linda also took pleasure in the simple joys of life; her passion for dancing to 50's music and visiting the beauty shop for her hair, complemented her vibrant personality. A remarkable hobby of hers was cutting grass on her beloved Bad Boy Zero turn mower, demonstrating her willingness to embrace all aspects of her home responsibilities with enthusiasm.
She had a profound appreciation for spending time with her family, creating countless memories that her loved ones will hold dear. Linda’s proudest accomplishments include the joy she found in taking her great-granddaughters to school and preparing their lunches, moments that defined her nurturing spirit.
Linda's family bonds were strong, she is survived by her sons, Richard Hebert of Port Acres, and Mike Hebert and his wife, Carol of Nederland; her daughter, Teresa Hebert of Port Arthur; her grandchildren, Alexis, Brittany, Cierra, Anthony, Alicia, Brandon, Candace and her husband, Brandon, Kristin and her husband, Gregg; and her three great-grandchildren, Peyton, Aubrey, and Luke will cherish her memory forever. She also leaves behind her sister, Fredina Escamilla.
Linda is preceded in death by, her loving husband of 56 years, Mickey Hebert; and her parents, Fred and Vivian LeBlanc and her sister, Patsy Havard.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:00 am, with Linda's funeral service to begin at 11:00am at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas.
