Lawrence Merendino, Jr., age 68, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. He was born on August 13, 1955, in Port Arthur, Texas, to his loving parents, Lawrence and Lena Merendino.

Lawrence's life was a testament to the values of family, the joys of the outdoors, and a passion for ranching. He found immense happiness in spending time with his grandchildren, and their presence brought him endless joy. He cherished them dearly and created lasting memories with them.

One of Lawrence's great passions was the great outdoors. He had a love for fishing and hunting, relishing the beauty and tranquility of nature. His connection with the land extended to his ranch, where he dedicated his time to raising deer, longhorns, and various other animals.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Merendino, Sr. and Lena (Cammareri) Merendino, but his memory lives on through those who loved him dearly. He is survived by his sons, Wade Merendino and wife Erica, and Ryan Merendino and wife Jessica, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Wyatt Merendino, Luke Merendino, and Preslynn Merendino. He is also remembered by his sister, Sarah Smith, his nephew Bryan Dunnam, and his niece Wendy Arnold. Lawrence loved his dear friend Donna Green and her family along with his beloved dog Carver, which also held a special place in his heart. He leaves behind a host of great nieces and nephews and extended family who will cherish his memory.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Melancon Levingston in Nederland, followed by a Celebration of Lawrence's Life at 3:00 p.m.

Cremation services are under the direction of Melancon Levingston in Nederland. Lawrence Merendino, Jr.'s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and he will be dearly missed by all who were touched by his presence.
