Laura was developmentally handicapped from birth, but that never handicapped her contentment and joy in life. She was interested in people, loved her family, friends, and her dogs, and we all loved her.
Despite her life challenges she was witty, generous, mannerly, friendly and at times over the top “quirky”! She had a laugh that made a party more fun and a church service embarrassing! Laura moved to North Texas in 2020 to live with her sister and brother-in-law, Lee Dell and Bob Poole. She fit into her new home graciously, her attitude of being always thankful and truly grateful, even in difficult life changing events, was a heart lesson for those who cared for her. We realized our attitudes could benefit from Laura's contentment.
Laura was pre deceased by her mom, Virgie Branick, dad, Bruce Branick and siblings, Lizbeth Branick and Jesse Branick. She is survived by her sister, Lee Dell Poole and husband Bob, sister-in-law, Jo Lynn Branick, and brother, Jeff Branick and wife Sherrie. Nieces, nephews and families; Joanna & Rick Duncan, Sam & Kate Duncan, Jeslyn & Aaron Hebert, Jena Branick & fiancée Casey Perigo, Merritt & Will Hicks, Jackson & Branick James, Ellie Branick and daughter Callie Grace and lots of aunts, uncle, and cousins. She is also survived by her dear friend of over 50 years, Kathy Richard, and family friends, Carla, Mike, Emma & Grayson Frank.
