Lance Everett Foster, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 46 in Beaumont, Texas. Born on November 18, 1978, in Nederland, Texas, Lance was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him.
Lance dedicated a significant part of his life to his career at Golden Pass LNG, where he served as Shift Superintendent. His work ethic was only rivaled by his passion for his family and friends. A fantastic cook, he took great pride in preparing meals that brought people together, often spanning diverse gatherings filled with laughter and warmth. Renowned for his dry sense of humor and as the life of the party, Lance had an undeniable ability to make every occasion enjoyable, always ensuring that those around him were smiling and entertained.
An avid outdoorsman, Lance cherished the moments he spent hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He was also a passionate sports fan, dedicating time to watch football and baseball, and if he wasn’t on the couch with Halle watching college softball, you would find him playing rounds of Golden Tee (LEF, if you know, you know) with his brother and many friends, fostering connections through shared interests with family and friends. His competitive nature extended to all aspects of his life, as he always sought to give his best, whether in work or play.
Lance will forever be remembered as a man who was very protective of his family and always considered everyone he loved as family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jaime Foster; his children, Halle Jean Foster, Emily Blankenship, Ava Apperson, and son Gabriel Apperson; and his grandchild, Channing Castille. Lance's memory will also be cherished by his father, Yancey Roy Foster, Sr.; his mother and father-in-law, Karen and James Robichaux; his brother, Robert Herring and wife Sherri; his sister, Julia Hayes and husband Richard; his brother, Chris Campbell and wife Sharron; and his brother, Yancey Foster, Jr. and wife Jamie.
Lance is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Foster, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became.
A visitation will be held on September 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas 77627. As friends and family come together to honor Lance's life, they will reflect on the many joyous memories created with him and the indelible mark he has left on their hearts.
