Koreen Althie McCoy, 88, of Nederland, Texas passed away quietly at her home on May 20, 2009. She was born in Guanaja, Honduras on October 7, 1920 to the late Dournoff and Marie McCoy Wood.She was the loving wife of Lorenzo McCoy of Nederland sisterinlaw to Levenia Wood of Honduras and special aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, May 22nd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland.Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Chaplin Frank Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home, April Stewart funeral or.Serving as pallbearers are Mike Jones, Nelson Bodden, Dillon Wood, Aaron Wood, Steven Wood, and Hebert Phillips.The family is requesting memorials be given to the charity of choice.
