Obituary

Kenneth Wayne Ballard, 69, of Groves, passed away on October 27, 2022, at his home.

Kenneth was born in Orange, Texas, on May 9, 1953, he was the son of Lester and Ouida Ballard. He was a natural born mechanic and was able to teach all his boys those lessons. He even made sure all his kids could drive a stick shift! Kenneth could work on any car and he loved to ride motorcycles. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time and boiled the best tasting crawfish you could find. Actually, he really loved to cook anything on the BBQ pit. He was very creative when it came to food! Kenneth loved nothing more than his family, he absolutely cherished his children and grandchildren, who lovingly called him Paw Paw “B.” He was truly loved and will forever be missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Elaine Hebert Ballard and his son, Clint Adam Ballard; and parents, Lester and Ouida Ballard.

He is survived by children, Angelique Toler and husband Scott of College Station, John Wayne Ballard of Groves, Glenn Paul Ballard of Groves, Brie Ashlyn Herrington and husband Cameron of Lafayette; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; along with his siblings and numerous family and friends. His siblings include Johnnie Gayle Ross Fisette (deceased), Glenda Sue Ballard, Yvonne "Tobie" Beavers and husband Douglas, Bonnie Harvey, David Ballard, Charlene Ballard, and Byron Lee "Peanut" Ballard and wife, Brenda.
