Joseph Hebert, Sr., a beloved Cajun known for his adventurous spirit and warm heart, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, in Beaumont, TX, at the age of 91.
Born on December 21, 1934, in Kaplan, Louisiana, Joseph carried the warmth of his heritage throughout his life. He was a true Cajun at heart, never one to stay in a single place for long, and he relished the
opportunity to meet new people throughout his life's journey, which took him to Vidor, Fannett, and Oklahoma. Joseph cherished his time dancing with his beloved wife, Florrie, creating many joyful
memories on the dance floor. A skilled craftsman, Joseph, dedicated many years to his work with the Carpenters Union, and his hands also crafted beautiful porch swings, a testament to his talent and
dedication.
Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph T. Hebert, Jr., and his stepdaughter, Bessie Plain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Theodore and Eleonore Hebert, his first wife, Betty Hebert; and his second wife, Florrie Duplant Hebert, sister, Leona Hebert and brothers, Leonard J. Hebert, Raymond Hebert, and Ransdall Hebert.
