John (Johnny) O'Neal Faulk Sr., a beloved member of the community, was born on November 11, 1943, in Crowley, Louisiana. He departed this life on February 5, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas. Known for his dedication and hard work, Johnny spent 45 years as an Insulator at a local refinery, proudly representing Asbestos Local #22.
In addition to his professional life, Johnny was passionate about various interests, he was a member of "Cooks 2 Dozen" which were involved with many charity events in the Golden Triangle and also participated in the Llano Crawfish Festival for many years. He enjoyed doing Word Search Puzzles and watching old Western TV shows. He loved drinking coffee 24-7. His warm presence and generous spirit left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Johnny's legacy lives on through his loving family. He is survived by his son, John O'Neal Faulk Jr., and his wife Tammy of Nederland, Texas; his daughter, Jacqueline Mary Ogg, and her husband Steve of Orangefield, Texas; and his cherished grandchildren, Scott Nichols, Amber Phelps and her husband Aaron, Timothy Faulk, Kelli Faulk, Caleb Roberts and his wife Paislee, and Keylie Wood and her husband Jordan. He was also the proud great-grandfather of Kiley, Hayden, Brylee, Peyton, Brysen, Kambree, and Kannon. In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Vivian Hoffpauir and Diana Gail Vincent.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Robert V. Faulk and Mary Ellen Abshire, and his brother, Robert Faulk. His memory will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him with love and admiration.
Visitation services will be held at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas, on February 13, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on February 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM, also at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, with interment to take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park following the service. After services at Greenlawn there will be a gathering at John and Tammy's house. Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to join the family in honoring Johnny’s life, celebrating the joy he brought to those around him, and cherishing the memories made over the years.
