Johnny "Butch" Gladden Jr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away on December 20, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas, at the age of 76. Born on November 13, 1949, in Port Arthur, Texas, Butch's life was marked by hard work, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family.

Johnny cared deeply for his family and was known for his honesty, never afraid to speak the truth even when it was hard to hear and especially when it mattered most. He showed up for his grandchildren in every way, rarely missing a school program, a game, or any of his granddaughters dance recitals. He was immensely proud of them and even kept a journal documenting all his grandson’s game stats throughout the years.

Johnny enjoyed fishing and spending time in his mancave watching college football and the Houston Texans.

Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Johnny kept things entertaining at every family gathering. His presence, love and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
