John R. Anderson, 79, of Jasper, passed away on December 19, 2022, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Tranquility Mausoleum, in Port Neches, Texas. A private service will be held after for the immediate family.
John was born in Lufkin, Texas, on July 4, 1943, he was the son of John Henry Anderson and Juanita Chitwood Anderson. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from Lyondell Basell (Sinclair-Koppers) in Port Arthur, Texas as a Laboratory Technician.
He was preceded in death by his parents John H. and Juanita (Chitwood) Anderson. Also, his grand fur-babies Dixie Girl and Jazz.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years Brenda (Hale) Anderson of Jasper, TX; his daughter, Traci L. Anderson of Bridge City, TX; his son, Jason H. Anderson and his wife April (McGhin) of Lumberton, TX; grandchildren, Timothy H. Anderson and Rebekah G. Anderson of Lumberton, TX; sister, Sara Dugas and her husband Jamye Dugas of Spring Branch, TX; brother, Phillip Anderson of Trinity, TX; Also, nephews Trent, Piers, and Ian.
A special thank you to the Trauma Doctors of St. Elizabeth and those that took care of John and his wife Brenda in ICU, and the Second and Fifth Floor of Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
