Jheron Fay Bourque, better known as “Terry”, 62, passed away peacefully at her home in Port Arthur, Texas. Terry was born January 23, 1962, in Kountze, Texas. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Terry dedicated over twenty years of her life as the owner of TLC’s beauty salon where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. She felt most at home serving at A Church of Jesus where she was a member for over thirty years. Terry had a passion for fishing, playing cards, and being an at-home judge for the TV show “The Voice”. Terry’s warm smile and contagious laugh will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Although she will be greatly missed, she is now in the presence of The Lord in all His glory.
Terry was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Clydie Stringer and siblings: Brenda Brumley, Karen Singleton, and Tommy Stringer.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years, Blake Bourque of Port Arthur; son Eric Seigrist and wife Sarah of Nederland; her daughters Teah Doyle and husband Ryan of Michigan and Tara James and husband Chad of Alabama; six grandchildren: Grace and Hayden Seigrist; Gregory and Izabella Doyle, and Hallie and Emmi James; two great-grandchildren; her sisters Gaye Kettl of Lumberton and Sharon Chambers of Porter; her brother Ronnie Stringer of Zavala; along with other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on March 9th at A Church of Jesus in Port Neches from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM to celebrate Terry’s life. Officiating will be Pastor Kerry Trahan. A burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
