Jerry Wayne Kittner, a cherished member of his community and a devoted family man, passed away on January 13, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas, at the age of 69. Born on January 8, 1957, in Orange, Texas, Jerry's journey through life was characterized by his unwavering work ethic and deep commitment to his loved ones.
For over 30 years, Jerry made his mark as a mechanic on oil rigs, dedicating himself to his profession while also serving in the United States Navy. He was a proud member of Val Verde Baptist Church, where his faith guided him throughout his life. Jerry was not only a skilled tradesman but also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as deer hunting and fishing. His love for the outdoors often found him at the lake, where he made countless memories with family and friends.
Family was the cornerstone of Jerry's life. He was the beloved husband of 31 years to Elaine Kittner of Groves. Together, they nurtured a close-knit family that included his dear mother, Rita Kittner, and their children: Katrina Jones and her husband, Blake, Salina Hancock and her husband, Clint, Jesse Kyle Faircloth, Donna Dynell Arnold, and Tara Rachelle Kimball and her husband, Murry. Jerry was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who adored him dearly. He had one sister, Melinda Bean and her husband, Terry, who shared in the family's love and support.
Jerry will be lovingly remembered for his family-oriented spirit, his treasured moments spent reading the Bible, and his pride in maintaining his home after retirement, always keeping busy with handywork.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Kittner, and his brother, Gary Kittner, who now join him in eternal rest.
A visitation in honor of Jerry will take place on January 19, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Val Verde Baptist Church, located at 3900 Cleveland Avenue, Groves, Texas 77619. Following the visitation, a funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM, allowing friends and family to gather in remembrance of a truly exceptional man whose legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. A graveside service and interment will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
Jerry Wayne Kittner's strong presence, loving kindness, and memorable laughter will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly within the lives he touched.
