ibJean Lafitte, 42, a longtime resident of Port Arthur, passed away on the 9th of January, 2009. He was an imaginative person who loved science and automobiles. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Vyrl and Dan Lyons of Groves and his brother, Jeff Lafitte of Austin. He is preceded in death by his father, L. C.
