Jason Dale Guidry

December 27, 1971 — April 10, 2024

Fannett, Texas.

Jason Dale Guidry, 52, of Fannett, Texas passed on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas. Born on December 27, 1971, in Houston, Texas to Dale Guidry and the late, Marilyn Borel Guidry, Jason was a man of unwavering faith and an exemplary role model for men, husbands, and fathers.
Throughout his life, Jason cherished his high school sweetheart, Andrea Guidry, his devoted wife of 29 years. Their love was a testament of commitment and loyalty. A man of many passions, Jason had a deep love and possessed an unshakable faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He served as a Deacon at Ridgewood Church and as the long-standing drummer in the praise band.  Jason opened his heart and home to anyone in need and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be camping, hunting, or spending time at the beach with his family. Jason was also known to enjoy dancing around the house with his family and his wife, his favorite dance partner.      Jason began his successful career with Huntsman Corporation in 1997. Through two transitions of the plant by Flint Hills and later MOTIVA, he was proud of a combined total of 27 years of service. His passion, dedication, and work ethic were noticed by all who had the opportunity to work with him. It was that drive that allowed him to achieve his current position of PEI Inspection Supervisor. Jason will be missed by all who had the fortunate opportunity to work by his side.
Those left to cherish Jason's memory include his loving wife, Andrea Guidry of Fannett, Texas; his father, Dale Guidry and wife, Anna; children, Tamara Guidry, Gavin Guidry, Savannah Salas and her husband, Joseph, Wyatt Guidry and his wife, Gabby, Bella Guidry, and Hayden Guidry; brother, Dustin Guidry and wife, Kerri; sister, Ashley Davis and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Ainnisia Crim, Zen Crim, Icelyn Crim, Adelynn Salas, Jayce Salas, and Maddox Guidry who all affectionately called him "Dude", as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews who knew him as "Uncle J".

Jason is preceded in death by his loving mother, Marilyn Borel Guidry.
Jason Dale Guidry's life will be honored and celebrated through two events at Ridgewood Church located at 2920 Lake Arthur Drive in Port Arthur, Texas. The first, a gathering of Jason's family and friends, will be held on Sunday evening, April 14, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The second will be a Celebration of Jason's life held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Jason’s honor for Night To Shine SETX, a magical prom experience for people with special needs and disabilities 14 years and older. Contributions can be made at www.nighttoshinesetx.com.
It is our prayer that Jason's legacy of love, faithfulness, and generosity will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his love for Christ continue to impact us all.
