James Troy Garcia, a beloved native of Port Neches, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, at the Oak Grove Nursing Home. Born on December 19, 1963, James touched the lives of many with his warmth and spirited nature.

Known for his love of wrestling, James was always ready to enjoy wrestling broadcasts on Monday nights, a passion that brought him much joy and a sense of excitement. Alongside this, he had a deep appreciation for sports in general and found great pleasure in going out to eat, cherishing these simple yet meaningful moments with those around him.

James was a devoted family man, and his presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his brother, Bobby Garcia, and sister, Ann Bowie, who remember him fondly. His loving partner, Gloria Borque, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, carry on his memory with affection and respect. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodolfo Garcia, Sr. and Aurora Garcia, and his brother, Rudy Garcia, Jr.

A visitation honoring James will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas, located at 1605 Avenue H. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 PM at the same location. These times offer an opportunity for all who knew James to gather, share memories, and celebrate his life.

James Troy Garcia’s legacy is one marked by his love for family, his enthusiasm for his favorite pastimes, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. His memory will be cherished forever by all fortunate enough to have known him.
