Jack Lester Sanford

Jack Lester Ray Sanford, 87, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Bonne Vie Nursing Home in Port Arthur.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

Jack was born in Nederland, Texas, on August 29, 1935, to James Percy Sanford and Nora Bush-Sanford.

After serving our country in the United States Air Force he worked as an Electrician for I.B.E.W. local 479 and he retired after thirty-four years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #1368. He was so very proud to have served in the military. He had a special love for music and his guitar that he played often. He especially loved spending as much time as possible with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Craig Sanford.

He is survived by his daughters, Kim Busceme and husband Bubba of Nederland, TX; and Cassi Sanford Navarrete of Kingwood, TX; his son, Lester Sanford and wife Katherine of Beaumont, TX; four grandchildren, Emma and Elizabeth Sanford, and Claire and GiGi Navarrete.
