Ethel MiguezEthel Marie Stanley Miguez, 83, of Port Arthur, Texas, went home to be with her Lord May 15, 2009 at M. D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was born on January 30, 1926 in Cameron, Louisiana to the late Norman and Annie Stanley.Ethel was a loving and devoted wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Miguez. She is survived by two daughters, Dianne Conner and husband Otis Conner of Corsicana, Texas and Danette Kimbrough and husband Tip Kimbrough of Lumberton Texas, four grandchildren, Corrie Bell, Matthew Conner, Caleb and Kelsee Kimbrough, three great grandchildren, Peter, Stephen and Elisabeth Bell and a host of friends and relatives.She was currently a member of First Baptist Church Nederland where she served as secretarytreasurer of the Rebounders Sunday School Class and a member of the Silvertones Choir.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 18, 2009 at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas with Dr. David Higgs officiating, assisted by Matthew Conner.Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, May 17, 2009 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Heritage Funeral Home.
