ibEstelle Virginia Hilbun, 77, of Nederland passed away surrounded by family and friends at St. Mary39s Hospital in Port Arthur on Saturday, January 31, 2009.She was born in Port Arthur on September 16, 1931 to the late Winnie R. Ewing, Sr. and Odessa Huckaby Ewing.Estelle is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Alfred Hilbun.She is the loving mother of Alfred Lawrence Hilbun and wife Murlene of Sour Lake, Dale Allen Hilbun and wife Gloria of Nederland Deborah Ellen Tatroe and husband Frank of Nederland, Tressie Giselle Hilbun and companion Paulette King of Houston, Virginia Hilbun Jones and husband Ronald of Beaumont beloved sister of W. R. Ewing, Jr. and wife Nancy of Bridge City and devoted grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her companion Oscar Canady of Lufkin.A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, February 2, 2009, at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 3, at 10:00am at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland, TX. Burial to follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches, TX.
