Elmo Gene East, 59, of Nederland, Texas passed away September 20, 2011 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. He was born October 6, 1951 in Port Arthur to the late W. R. quotSonnyquot and Olymph quotLappyquot Marie East. He was a member of St. Charles Borremeo Catholic Church in Nederland and worked for Firestone Polymers.
