Elaine Atkins

Elaine Atkins, 102, of Groves died Thursday December 24, 2009 at her residence. Elaine was born on December 21, 1907 in Orange, Texas to Allen and Mary Capps. She was a homemaker and life long resident of the Groves and Port Arthur area. Elaine was a member of the Park Central Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 26, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Mr. Dale LeBlanc officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Guy Allan Atkins. She is survived by her two daughters Mary Elizabeth Broussard and husband Chester of Groves, Texas and Elaine Morse of Katy, Texas. Five grandchildren; Nine great grandchildren; and Three great great grandchildren.
