Obituary

Edward Field, 65, of Nederland, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Officiating will be Reverend Eathan Oaks.

Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

An hour of Visitation with the family begins at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

Ed was born on November 19, 1957, in San Antonio, Texas, and raised by Phyllis Spiller and Robert “Pop” Cleveland Sink, Jr. He was married to the love of his life Rona Field for 35 years and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland, Texas. He was the Director of Operations for Diagnostic Health in Beaumont. Ed was a member of the Beaumont Founder’s Lions Club for 14 years. He was most recently elected First Vice District Governor of District 2-S1.

He is preceded in death by his sister Robin Sink.

He is survived by his wife Rona Field of Nederland, TX; son Christopher Field and wife Hillary of New York, NY; and daughter Rebecca Pryor and husband Brock of Nederland, TX; three grandchildren Quinn, Penelope, and Jasper; brother Robert “Bo” Cleveland Sink III and wife Nikol of Pleidelsheim, Germany, as well as several nieces and nephews.
