Dorothy Jo Jones

ibDorothy Jo Jones of Nederland, Texas went to be with her Lord on Christmas Day 2008 at the age of eightynine. She was born December 22, 1919 in Hillsboro, Texas, and was the daughter of Eula Jo and Veon Fallon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Westley B. Jones, and her sister, Betty Daniel. She is survived by her son, Robert Bob Jones his wife, Becky grandson, Joshua granddaughter, Lauren Thibodeaux greatgrandson, Kaden Thibodeaux and daughter, Linda Sanders, all of Nederland.Dorothy was a wonderful person, loving wife, mother, and friend. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Nederland. We will all miss her greatly.A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, December 27th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Rev. David Higgs officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
