Dianne Louise Freeman

Dianne Landry Freeman, 64, of Nederland, Texas passed away at her home on October 4, 2009. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on March 28, 1945 to the late John D. and Eunice David Landry. She was the loving wife of Ronald G. Freeman of Nederland for 45 years devoted mother of David Freeman and wife, Cindy of Nederland, Stacey Hill and husband, Joey of Port Neches, and Tania Drago and husband Lawrence of Nederland sister of Cheryl Landry of Nederland and cherished grandmother of Vincent Freeman, Alex Hill, Evie Hill, Catherine Drago, Elizabeth Drago, and Charles Joseph quotCJquot Drago II sisterinlaw Pat Landry and also by several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Alvin Landry.Dianne was a familiar face for several years at Drago39s Copy Print Center, helping her soninlaw in the business and a volunteer at St. Catherine School. She was a dedicated and devoted wife and mother, always there to support her kids in all of their activities growing up. But, her passion in life, was her grandchildren. She always attended their activities from dance recitals, football games, and scouting. Her efforts to be present were only hindered by her illness.A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, October 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m.A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland on Wednesday, October 7th at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County Cemetery.
