Deborah "Debbie" Toney

Deborah “Debbie” Toney, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Silsbee Oaks in Silsbee, Texas.

Debbie was born on January 25, 1952, in Port Arthur, Texas to Mary Irene Hartner Segura and Elvest Joseph Segura. She graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1970, and was a bookkeeper and secretary. Debbie enjoyed multiple crafts and creating handmade items. In more recent years she was a lover of gospel music and Hallmark movies. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Erin Bedair and husband Jason of Lumberton, Texas, and Laura Oliver and partner Lisa Gunn of Lake Charles, Louisiana; grandchildren Chris, Jake, Brittney, Jonah, and Madison; great grandchildren Valerie, Brenna, Oliver, Brynlee, and Curtis; brother Roger Segura; sisters, Marilyn Segura and Linda Nichols; and very dear friend Harry Trimble.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday July 23, 2023, at Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland. A Celebration of Life “Memorial Service” will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland.
