Clayton Wayne Bailey

Clayton Wayne Bailey, born on March 26, 1997, in Port Arthur, Texas, was a beacon of joy whose zest for life left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. Tragically, he departed this world on September 25, 2024, in Galveston, Texas, at the young age of 27. Clayton was known for his infectious smile and hearty laugh, embodying a playful and goofy personality that could brighten the darkest of days. He was a man who never met a stranger, always striving to uplift those around him, ensuring that no one felt alone in times of hardship.

Clayton’s educational journey included attendance at Nederland High School, where he cultivated friendships and memories that would last a lifetime. His love for life was evident in everything he did, from his passion for sports, especially his devotion to the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots, to his serene moments spent fishing at the lake. His affinity for these activities was a testament to his vibrant spirit and the joy he found in both competition and tranquility.

A devoted father, Clayton is survived by his beloved daughters, Mollie Elaine Bailey and Genevieve Claire Bailey, who will carry his memory forward in their hearts. He is also remembered fondly by his parents, Ricky Sue and Corey Minaldi, and his sister, Raelynn Bobbitt. The strength of Clayton's family extends to his cherished grandparents, Richard and Joan Moore, and Carleen Minaldi, who will forever cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Larry Minaldi.

A memorial service in honor of Clayton Wayne Bailey will be held on September 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Fellowship Church Nederland, located at 1315 S. 27th Street, Nederland, TX 77627. In this gathering, family, friends, and all who were touched by Clayton’s spirit will come together to celebrate his life, share stories, and remember a man who loved deeply and sought to bring happiness to those around him. Clayton will be missed dearly but his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will endure through all who knew him.
