Cindy devoted over twenty years of her professional life to Sears Portrait Studio as a photographer, capturing memories that families would cherish for years to come. She was a proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, where her adventurous spirit began to blossom.

An avid coffee drinker, Cindy found solace in her alone time outside, surrounded by nature. She had a love for music that blossomed throughout her life, which she shared with her family. She also enjoyed playing card games and board games during memorable gatherings. Her keen interest in the weather led her to become a devoted viewer of the Weather Channel, enthusiastically providing daily updates to anyone who would listen.

Cindy was a member of Encounter Church for several years. Her love for her faith was profound; she cherished her involvement in church and made it a habit to read her Bible every day, drawing strength from her beliefs. The holiday get-togethers with loved ones brought her immense joy, reflecting her deep commitment to family and connection.

Family was at the heart of Cindy's life. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Firmin and her husband Casey of Nederland; her grandchildren, Kelsey Richard and her fiancé Randy Underwood, Ruben Granados, Felix Granados, and Addison Firmin. Her sisters, Gay Thul and her husband Tom, and Lynn Ashmun further enriched her life with warmth and support. Cindy also cherished Timothy Tate, the love of her life and father to her daughter, along with her soul sisters and an extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember her fondly.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Kathleen (Davis) Evans and Addison Lee Evans, Jr., and her grandparents, Robert and Grace Davis and Addison and Lucille Evans.

Her infectious laughter and easy-going nature embodied her immense spirit, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her proudest accomplishments were her daughter and grandchildren, who brought her unparalleled joy throughout her life.
