Christel Wilson, 74, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. Christel was born in Memmingen, Germany on December 7, 1947.
Christel was a kind and loving person who found true happiness through her family. She never forgot a birthday or family event and her life revolved around helping others. Christel was the type of person that could brighten up any room, and she enjoyed lively, bright and colorful things. Christel was a loving mother and grandmother that will be missed by all who knew her.
Those left behind to cherish Christel’s memory are her parents, Katarina and Floyd Griffith of La Monte, MO; her son, Matias Wilson and his wife, Sherrie of Nederland, TX; her son, Bryan Wilson and his wife, Krista Young of Iowa City, IA; her grandchildren, Ayla Richardson of Nederland, TX and Megan Pelt of Nederland, TX; and her brothers, Gary Griffith of La Monte, MO and John Griffith and his wife, Jody of La Monte, MO.
Private services for Christel will be held by the family at a later date.
